10:00-12:00	Playboy in the Gold Coast Patti Swanson, $22, Tix here Nestled amongst the gorgeous turn-of-the-century mansions that define Chicago’s Gold Coast is the history of a magazine empire: Playboy. Join Patti Swanson and Olivia Sobieraj for a walking tour that explores the evolution, successes, scandals, and architecture of this legendary media brand — as well as the broader history of the neighborhood it once called home.
12:00-1:30	Chicago’s Theatrical Palaces Leyla Royale, $22-$30, Tix here Join Leyla on a tour of Chicago’s most notable theatres – both standing and lost to time – in this downtown tour. We’ll look at the facades of movie palaces, hear stories of famous vaudeville houses, & take a look at where you could enjoy Smell-O-Vision back in the 1960s. As a bonus, you can also purchase a specially made mini guide made specifically for Mystericon 2023 that provides photos & details of theatres mentioned on the tour!
2:00-3:30	Badass Women of Chicago Walking Tour Mandy Crypt, $22, Tix here From debutantes to criminals to journalists, Chicago is home to many a badass woman. Come walk the streets of downtown Chicago with Mandy Crypt as she shares the lives and stories of some of Chicago’s most interesting and badass women!  Highlights include stops at: the Art Institute, Chicago Theater, Old Cook County Court House, and the Tribune Building.
